Jamil Dally, based in Beirut, Lebanon.
I graduated from Saint-Joseph University with a Bachelor Degree in Cinematography  and TV Film Production (IESAV).  After 3 years of working in cinema as a first/second camera assistant, I decided to start working on my own vision, and fulfill my passion in photography. Thus, after having a broad exposure to the different paths in the domain, it became clear to me that I want to pursue a career in photography.

My style of photography is driven by raw human expressionism in order to highlight the importance of human emotion, or rather lack thereof in our “modern” society. It reflects my perspective on the modern world through unorthodox, rather gloomy take on it. My aim is to create stories with the photographs I take and leave it to the viewers to come up with their own interpretation and understanding of the photographs. I aspire to create a timelessness art.
